Company History
Ciarán & Maeve started in 1988 as a husband & wife team employing 4 people for their first outlet in the City Centre, relocating to Rathfarnham Castle where they built a reputation for quality & service. Ten years later, Brambles was formed with the opening of their first flagship Café in the old Dundrum Shopping Centre.

In 2005, the company moved into the new Dundrum Town Centre and opened its 7th and largest Café yet. The new branch on the second floor became their ultimate flagship store, providing visibility, brand awareness and wide public acknowledgement of the style and excellence they had grown accustomed to.

Brambles maintains a level of exceptional quality unrivalled in today’s market.

A huge success story, Brambles is highly sought after as an operator and receives many enquiries on a daily basis to embark on new business ventures. In September 2005, Brambles assumed the management of two prestigious Cafés in the Jervis & Blanchardstown Shopping Centres on behalf of the Bewley’s Group.

Soon to be rebranded, these sites will serve to strengthen the Brambles identity amongst consumers, together with our two new Cafés in the newly built Beacon Hospital, and our fabulous new café in the developing Stillorgan Shopping Centre ~ 16 Brambles outlets in total.

The most exciting move last year was the relocation of Brambles Head Office to a purpose-built support site in South Dublin… a 9,000sq.ft building complete with new Production Kitchen, Dry Store Warehousing and new Offices to provide for the expanding Management team.

Having increased our qualified staff to include a Finance Manager, Business Development Manager, Logistics Manager & a recently appointed Dublin Area Manager, we are currently compiling a new strategy which will involve additional competent staff bringing new skills to the Management mix.

Ciarán & Maeve have gathered a highly trained team providing excellence, attention to detail, guaranteed to facilitate your every requirement.

Brambles are currently in the process of sourcing where possible all Vegetables from Organic Farmers located within 50 miles of our kitchen.

We are also actively pursuing a fair trade policy which will ensure that the poorest farmers receive a fair price for the coffee we enjoy each day.

The development of Brambles has led to a very prestigious Ulster Bank nomination for Entrepreneur of the Year 2006, a joint FBD & City Channel Award for Business of the Month and a huge presence at the Taste of Dublin, highlighting the extent of achievements of the company in the last 12 months.
